Christmas Shopping - limited quantity

I have children at home and it's difficult to find interesting and educational gifts for kids in particular during the seasons holidays. Our family likes Lego and find them to be both parents and kids favorites.

Last month, you had a special buy of a Lego City Corner and World of Racers set at $30 which we thought were wonderful kits of our children. When we got to the store at Market Mall, Calgary, early in the morning when the flyer began, we saw one man who took 7-8 of the City kit and a woman took 5+ boxes of each kit and left nothing behind.

I could see a regular person buying one or two kits 5+ was not a reasonable number especially when the product was in high demand and was sold in limited quantity. It was not fair that one or two customers arrived earlier and empty the stock and left the rest of the regular customers who wanted only one unit of the product for our loved ones disappointed.

Coincidentally, I found similar Lego products available at much higher prices on our local Kijiji (Buy/ Sell) site. I suspected someone bought a larger amount of the Lego products when they were on sale and sold it online to make a big profit.

I was not happy to see that some people could selfishly buy all the special buy products to his own benefits. I believe your organization is not a wholesale store and should not encourage such behavior, I sincerely hope you will set a limit on the buying quantity of these products in the coming year so 20 regular customers would be happy instead of the 2 professional shoppers ripping everyone off just because they were the first in line.

Thank you for your kind attention.
