Foobar2000 ape

It's even easier to restore an ape archive using Foobar2000.
You will need Foobar2000 and the Monkey's Audio Decoder
download from here: http://www.foobar2000.org/components
First edit your cue file for the ape file.
Rename the File name to get rid of the unicode characters. Call it say cdmedia.ape
Save the cue file as a ANSI file if it's not already in ANSI format.
Rename the ape file to match with the file name defined in the cue file.
Open the cue file in Foofar 2000
All the tracks will be displayed. Select all of the tracks.
Right-click and select Convert\...
Select the Output format, Destination, and other settings.
Click on the Convert button and the ape file will be converted and saved in the designated folder.
Foobar2000 remembers your last settings. For the next conversion, you just need to select Convert\[last used]
